hey, sorry i didnt post for the last 2 weeks, because i didnt go for BB, anyways last week we went to mission trip, in Pengkalan Hulu to help out in the BB company there, 1st Pengkalan Hulu Company, will post it =)

20th November 2010

this week, during parade, we got pumped AGAIN, because we didnt keep the church compound clean. so please make sure we do, it doesnt need to be after dismiss, any time when u're free, u can clean the place =)

today, people from HONG KONG came to our church! =D they leaded us in our Praise & Worship session. all cantonese songs =x and halfway, a few of them shared about their life experiences, the hard times, and how God has helped them to face them =)

badge class! the members in 'cooking class' went on with their class, this week's assignment, COOKING BREAKFAST - ham, sausage etc. i even ate some, quite nice =x for the 'origami class', they had to make the nicest looking aeroplane and the one that can fly the highest/furthest/yeng-est =x michael's one flew SUPER high =P and Sir Tam's one fly for 1 second then drop dy =x =x for 'model making' we started our project! Kean Chung is making a dragon model, i think its from a game. Anita is making a guitar, and Yin Yee a dolphin! so yea we started, it so awesome =P

so today after dismiss, we handed out our squad camp forms =) be sure to submit it ASAP to Anita or Daniel or Wai Hoeng.

im so sorry! didnt post for 2 months already -.- i will update this blog every week from now on! =x sry =x =x

okay, since its the last 2 months of 2010, we'll be wearing MUFTI for the rest of the year! =) so, today we had 8 members, good. so during parade, the whole senior section got pumped, A LOT. why? because we were being rude, not only the members, the NCOs also. we didnt greet any primer, ssgts, or officers. =( its not about them wanting us to greet actually, its about our habits, next time when we're off to work etc, we need these habit of always greeting people, and not just walk pass them. if not, its being rude! and again, we got pumps for not keeping the church compound clean, BB use the church compound, so we should be responsible to keep it clean. sorry 1st kajang & 9th mile lutheran church =(

after parade, we had Praise & Worship session. Even though the electricity keep on-ing and off-ing, we still managed to worship the Lord, because even if there's no electricity, as long as we mean it, we r still praising the Lord =D

bible class, today we finished Luke 23. we read about Jesus's Death and Burial. and that Joseph & Nicodemus took Jesus's body and buried it in a tomb/rock. we'll be finishing chapter 24 next week.

badge class =P after separating into our respective topics, we started. for the "drawing" section, they had to draw anything that they can see, the surroundings. for the "design" section, we had to design a logo with a "7" in it, any way u like. u must have the line, point and plane. as for the "singing" section, they had to perform a song in groups. Cpl Nicholas, Josiah & Daniel sang "Through It All", Cheng Fong & Joshua sang "cai hong", and Darren & Avril sang "O Holy Night". all did well =) keep it up people! after SSGT gave us our assignments, off we are for Squad Activity!

we went to the new church compound and played captain ball, squad 4 vs. squad 5. i can say, both squads also quite ganas =x this includes anita hitting tamleng's head with a ball, sorry! haha. after playing for 20mins, we started our Environmental Conservation Project, so we started plucking the weeds! =D so, 10mins added into our accounts. ^^

after dismiss, SSGT told us to stand in a line in the new compound, and we started plucking weeds! those who have more, gets more bonus marks! haha, so in the end, we did a great job! pastors and the church members must be so proud of us =P so, another 30mins added into the account! thanks everyone =D

this week, most of the seniors went to BNTS & ANTS, so seniors are left with 12 ppl! =x

so after parade, we had Praise & Worship by josiah. We sang Trading my sorrows, Blessed be Your Name and Shout to the Lord. and then announcements by anita.

After that, we combined Bible Class with Pastor Joe teaching us. he gave us a few questions,

1) is it important to be a Christian outside BB?

2) does BB bring ppl to Christianity?

3) as a BB member, did you do ur part in bringing ppl to Christ?

so these questions made us think for awhile, and then each group had to share about our answers. the last question was very important, and for us now, we didnt really do it yet, so better try to share about the gospel yea. =) pastor Joe added, if u have something good to share, of course we would want to share to our friends right? so how come we dont share about God to them? and then pastor talked about his vision/dream.

he was in a place kneeling infront of God, and someone came and talked to him. he said he was in Hell and he's pastor's neighbour. and he said to pastor :"why didnt you share the gospel to me? i dont have a chance to b in Heaven now." so since then, pastor decided to work in God's ministry. =)

so dont wait till that day happens.

after that was Special Program. we started off with a communication game. each group 2 ppl. so anita gave a drawing to 1 member of the group, and he/she has to describe the drawing to his/her partner and the partner has to draw it down. and then we'll see how well the group members communicate with each other. the best was kai xian & josiah. avril & tamleng had language problem. haha. the objective of this game is to train ur communicating skills. if u cant communicate well, nothing can b done. and u must explain specifically so that u can pass the message to ur partner clearly. =)

2nd game by Cpl Joshua, he gave us a few things and we had to make 2 and a half lines. objective of this game is to train teamwork and improvising skills. =D

after that was Captain Ball. 2 teams. 1st game, Sgt Ric's team won Cpl Joshua's team. but THEN! juniors wanted to play, so we went into Fellowship Hall. we played a memory game led by Sgt. and then he showed us a video, about seat belts. and then he linked it with sharing the gospel. he told us that we can find any videos and then link it to Christianity to share it with other non-christians. so we have an assignment about this to share the gospel to others =)

we dismissed and played captain ball & dodge ball after that with the juniors =D even though we only had 12 seniors, we had loads of FUN today! ^^

2. there is no BB next week, but the Youth is having a Mooncake Festival BBQ, all youths are invited!

the schools were having replacement class AGAIN @.@ so today only 4 ppl =(

we had parade & then Praise & Worship by sq member daniel tam =D we sang Hari Ini, Here To Eternity, and Still..then L/cpl marcus gave the announcements..

Bible class, we continued last week's Luke 22..we learnt about the passover, and about the Holy Communion, about the unleavened bread & wine, as a covenant in Jesus blood..

Jesus said: "The greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves."

Jesus told peter that satan would tempt him, and it did..Peter denied Jesus 3 times, but he went back to Jesus because of his faith..Judas did not, he betrayed Jesus..

we watched 'The Inconvenient Truth' again, and then and squad activity..this week Sgt Ric went from sq to sq to evaluate each sq, although our sq didnt do well, we'll try to do better next week..=)

drill, each member followed their respective trainers, Cpl Nic and the drill presentation group followed Cpl Josh..

the schools were having replacement class again ._. so squad 4 had 4 ppl, full attendance because the others are in school =)

for praise & worship session, Cpl Soo Lee leaded us, and thank God that it was a great time worshiping the Lord! ^^ we sang 不要忧虑, Segala Puji Syukur & One Way =P

for Bible class, we learnt Luke Chapter 22. we learnt about how satan tempted Judas to betray Jesus and about the passover. today's Bible class was a little short, but we'll continue next week.

Badge class, Primer Han Jon let us continue the movie from last week, pls remember to take down notes because this will be in ur Environmental Conservation Exam! =D

we then had squad activity. we only had 4 members, but we still continued. we had this activity is like, i ask u a question, u have to answer and u'll have to ask another person another question. so it's like non-stop. we asked many random questions and alot 废话, haha. but actually this is to be relax abit. to just bring up the mood a little, say some jokes, and at the same time get to know each other more. and the last question, we agreed to be more 废 and 叽喳 to make sq activity more fun. remember k, u r the one who suggest this, so talk more la! xD

drill, the drill formation team continued practicing the 3rd formation. pls remember to be more serious, this is drill, and always be alert =) make sure u come next week too.

it's the 1st week of august already, it's past the half of year 2010. so study hard yea form3-s and form5-s =x

parade, we had quite few members because today the school were having replacement class. so only those who are studying in morning session can come BB, but nvm! cause for us, Education is more important! =)

today's praise & worship session was lead by Cpl Nicholas, so today was more spiritual, praise the Lord! we sang Blessed Be Your Name, 去实现 & With All I Am. most of the NCOs were supposed to go to 3rd KL for their Enrollment's Day, but it got postponed to Sunday, so we had more people here in BB. =D

Bible Class, Uncle Butt Wah's class combined with Uncle Mike's class. so we continued to Luke 21. it's about a widow's offering. many rich people give riches, and alot of gifts for offering. but the widow gave only 2 copper coins. but, the truth is, the widow gave more than the rich people. the rich people only gave a little of everything they have, but the widow gave everything she had.

Luke 21:4

"all these people give their gifts out of their wealth ; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on."

this doesnt mean that those who give alot are bad =x it's okay to give alot if you're capable of it, the main point of this is, GIVE IT OUT OF YOUR HEART. =)

then we learnt about the signs of Jesus's 2nd coming. He wont tell us when he will come, but there are signs for them.

Badge class, Primer Han Jon let us watch a movie about global warming, quite funny. =x we will continue the movie next week, so pls do come!

Squad Activity. since today quite few people, each squad around 5 ppl, so squad 3, 4 & 5 combined. =x we had sharing, about our past camps, not necessarily BB camps, what we learnt in those camps, and how it has changed us. so Sgt Richard started. he talked about his experience in ANTS. and, whoa, he kinda scared us. =x so ANTS is like a camp on leadership, how to lead a company. then Cpl Joshua talked about BNTS. although BNTS have quite alot punishments, still, its more of how to know yourself, what kind of attitude you should have. it's more like about your own. so he encouraged all of us to join this year's BNTS! ^^ then anita shared about last year's STC, how she learnt to cook =x and trust others too. then daniel shared about Life Game. =P it's a 4-day game that u get to play your life out. and he said that in this camp, he realised how hard it is to earn money & how easy it is to spend it. if u havent joined this camp before, u should! then kai xian talked about his STC too. so finally darren prayed and we prepared for drill.

for Cpl Joshua's group, we continue to prepare for our BB 41st Anniversary Drill Formation Presentation. we finished 2 formations already, will be doing the last one next week, so members MUST come yea, only 2 weeks more to go!

hey guys, sry for the late posts..am kinda busy lately..=(

so this week we were supposed to have our company's bowling activity in Metropoint, but because of a few problems, it got canceled..T.T nevermind, so we decided to have a gotong-royong activity!! ^^

after parade, we had praise and worship..and Primer Ban Kok gave us a little briefing about where we are going to clean up..so then we were separated into 2 groups..1st group will clean up around Taman Permai, 2nd group at around the temple and church area..so then, we took our gloves and plastic bags and started~

after picking up the rubbish and separating them into 3 plastic bags, aluminium, paper and plastic, we finally finished our job..glad that many are willing to help to keep the environment clean..=) owh yea, forgot to say, this week's gotong-royong is part of our Environmental Conservation badge project..=D

after that, we had FOOD..o_o we ate keropok..=x after that we went to the chinese primary school and had many round of captain ball..^^ but after the 3rd round, it started to rain, and we quickly ran back to church, luckily no one got drenched..

after parade by Cpl soo lee, we went up for praise and worship session..=P josiah was the song leader..we sang Lord I Lift Your Name On High, My Life is in You, and This is My Desire..=D

during Bible class, we learnt about Luke 19..the story of Zacchaeus the tax collector..im sure we all know that story..its about Zacchaeus who is a sinner, but welcomed Jesus and salvation is in him, he decided to give back the extra money he took from others..=)

next was the parable of the ten minas..this verse is meaningful, Luke 19:26

Jesus replied,'I tell u that to everyone who has, more will b given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what he has will b taken away.'

note:

after another 5 weeks when we finish the book of Luke, there will b an exam on it..for Christian Education Badge..so, read up and goodluck..=D

we had Badge class after that..this week we presented our Environmental Conservation sketches..=x so Primer han jon gave us another 10minutes to practice our sketch and then we presented..1st up was the 1st group, Cpl josh's group..its about conservation of flora and fauna..the story is about 3 animals in the jungle..xD

we learnt from that sketch that it takes around 1 hour to cut down a tree, but 1 whole year to plant a healthy and well-grown tree..so we have to plant more trees..=)

2nd group's sketch is about air and water pollution..the way they showed the fishes (maysan and karmei) dying and washed away was funny..haha..

we learnt to not support those factories that use animal skin to make their products, as it causes alot of air and water pollution..

both teams got 15/30..gratz!! ^^

we had sq activity and then drill..this week, Sgt richard led us again..and because we didnt showed our discipline during drill, we got pumped..alot..so we learnt a few things that day..

- b more disciplined

- make sure u do things fast and not slowly

and we also trained our drill

Sgt gave us an assignment, we have to

write down what's the objective of drill, and what we learn in drill..

and pass it up to Cpl josh next week (10th july)..

this week's song leader is daniel..and our whole worship team is young geh, except Cpl Josh..=x we sang Here to Eternity, Mighty to Save, and 勇敢走出去..=)

so now, its inter squad activity..this week's program is planned by anita and L/cpl marcus..so first we played a game of balancing on the newspaper..and each round, u have to fold it into half..turns out karmei, alex and avril were the finalist..=x then we had a 2nd part, is every1 find a solution so that every single person can balance on that small piece of newspaper..1st some suggested that a few ppl hold each other, but still, some people fell..so another suggested that they made a circle and hold each other, still failed..finally, kaixian suggested that every hold each other, and use their left leg to step on the newspaper, and right leg step on the person on ur right's leg..sounds complicated? but, this way WORKED!! and they passed..=) gratz..

the objective of this game is that..u see, when we r facing a problem, in this case, trying not to fall, we only think of ourselves..but the only way that can work is every1 to work together, helping each other..then only every1 can succeed..its like, not to think of urself only..and also, in these kind of problems, how leaders can find a solution, step out and suggest to others, communicate with them and get others to work with him..=)

then the next game is lying on each other's back geh..like each person get a chair, and sit on it, then lie down on the person next to u..then we'll slowly take the chairs out..and every1 balance without chairs..this game we all know very well, so i dont think i'll write the details down..

the objective is, u need ur members to work together if u want to stay strong..and like what L/cpl marcus said about the game..u stand alone, u'll fall..but stand together, we'll stay strong no matter what..=D

after that we had drill..Cpl Josh lead us..after that, he picked out some of us to command..gratz to Marcus and Daniel..=P after that, we sat down in a circle to discuss what r our mistakes..so we have 4 mistakes now..

1. our hands not straight

2. our legs arent 90 degrees

3. checking quite bad

4. always have sounds of our boots dragging on the floor

so pls try to chg this mistakes yea..=)

physical training / captain ball training..3 juniors joined us, Yan Shao, Brandon and Bryan..^^ for our squad, daniel led the training..1st we tried the new and correct way of pumping..u know last time our hands move to the side? that's wrong..the right way is to go straight, to the sides of ur body..so we tried, REALLY VERY TIRING MAN..all of us keep shouting..well, except wailoon, he damn strong man..@.@ then we did sit ups..we paired up with each other, 2 by 2..and started sit up-ing..and in the process, Brandon accidentally kicked somebody's....erm..=x not ngam to say here..haha..then we ran around the court for 3 rounds..wailoon suggested we run up the roofs of the school..LOL!! =x then we got the ball and started training shooting, passing and catching the ball without making it fall..

we only got time for 1 captain ball match..we vs squad 5..Primer Han Jon helped squad 5, Miss Lee helped us..=) but still, after that tiring game..we lost 8-9..aww..T.T anyhow, we played alot..so gratz..xD

after parade, we had praise and worship..we sang Segala Puji Syukur, Here I am to Worship and Still..=)

then it was Bible class..today we learnt about Luke Chapter 18..about a widow and an unjust judge..u see, the story is like this..the widow's husband died in a war, and she wants to get her rights..but no 1 listens to her..so everyday she keep asking the judge to help her out..she never stopped asking him, she had persistence..so FINALLY, after many many many days of that, the judge agreed to help her..

if u are persistent,even an unjust judge will help u..God is a very just judge..do u think He will help u if u continue praying everyday? well of course..=)

there's another story about the tax collector and the pharisee..one day, they both went to the temple and pray..the pharisee thanked God that he is not a sinner, not like the robbers, murderers and not the tax collector..see how he only thought of how good he himself was? but the tax collector beat himself, and confessed to the Lord..he repented..and God forgave his sins..and Uncle Mike shared about how meaningful this passage was:

"those who made themselves great, are humbled..but if u humble yourself, u are made great.." =)

badge class..since we finished our safety badge exam already..we continued with Environmental Conservation..=D our primers who will b teaching us are Primer Felicia and Primer Melvin..so for this week's assignment, we have to make a sketch about environmental conservation..can b about global warming, pollution, anything..so we were separated into 2 groups, and we started discussing and practiced..

Assignment:

u will b presenting ur sketch on 3rd July during badge class, so pls make sure u come on that day..=)

during drill, Sgt Ric came back to BB on that day and so he lead us in drill..according to the officers, recently our discipline really dropped alot..not to mention our uniform parts are getting worse..so we had uniform inspection by Sgt Ric, Sir Tan and Cpl Soo Lee..many got pumped..so pls remember what they said about ur uniform and try harder to improve it yea..prove to them that we can do better..=D then we started drill..but we only got to do basic drill..so, jia you ba..^^

for sq activity, we finally finished our sq resolution poster..=P we painted our fingers and 'chop' on the paper to make the design..xD will post the pictures later..

sry for not posting earlier..T.T

ok, so i dont really know what happened in BB coz i had to b helper for our children bible camp..so i went late to BB..so after the camp ended, we went to the primary school for games..

we played the unity game..O.o all the seniors, yes, ALL THE SENIORS stand in 1 row, and we tie all our legs together..and our mission is to walk from 1 end of the 小学篮球场 (is this how u write xiao xue? =x) to the other end..its not that far, but if u're walking with all of them tied together, its a LONG WAY..so then teck kien started shouting 'everyone jump together!!' if 1 person fall, everyone falls, and we have to start all over again..this trains our teamwork and helping each other when we face a problem..so then sgt suggested 1 person to give a way to solve this prob..and since the solution took TOO-LONG..ahem, sry yea =x =x so sgt suggested we all walk super-small-steps..and this was way faster..and we finally reached the end..=) gratz guys!!

then, CAPTAIN BALL!! we follow squads, but some had to b sent to other squads coz not enough ppl..but squad4 managed to stay, coz we wanted to..=x so our 1st game, vs. squad1 i think..we lose 9-7 to them..nvm, we tried our best already..without sgt sumore..good dy la xD

next game, vs. squad5..we won 6-0..this game everyone really laugh till sot already..coz so many ppl fall and do funny actions..=P good game squad 5 =)

this week's the 4th week, so we wore mufti =)

we had 8 members today..philip had to go to penang with his family, and rong ying had tuition..today's worship session is leaded by joshua ong..we sang Soraklah Hallelujah, This Is How We Overcome and Here I am to worship..we have some special guests, a few church members from Semenyih came here to listen to a talk by Stanley Cheung..he talked about his experience when he was burnt by fire..abt how God helped him overcome his pain..

then we had squad activity..today we started doing our sq resolution poster..=D for those that didnt come, pls try to do it at home, coz we need to finish it by end of June yea..and while we were doing it, we chatted and talked abt how we're doing..at least we had some fellowship with each other..=P

we had games after that..we went to the chinese primary school and played captain ball..xD so we didnt follow squads, the whole senior section was separated into 4 groups and we played 4 games..but since the students are having extra classes, we had 'silent mode captain ball'..=x

then we went back to church and dismissed..pastor kuan gave yee lynn the reward for her straight A in SPM last yr..coz last week she didnt get to come..gratz..^^

today's the 3rd week, so dresscode is full uniform..and we had 5 members today..T.T wailoon and rongying went for tuition..

announcement, Pei Yi from squad3 shifted to our squad..=) gratz and welcome..^^

praise and worship, song leaded by josiah..we sang Hari Ini, How Great Is Our God and Kau Yang Terindah..good job to the worship team, jia you..^^

then we had a special activity..today Uncle David and John from Basic Accord came and gave awards to those that scored well in UPSR, PMR and SPM in 2009..

Basic Accord is giving awards to those 1st kajang members that score well in their major exams..so gambateh and try ur best yea..^^

we had bible class after that, as usual we went to the library..so we continue learning about Luke Chapter 17..about Faith, Forgiveness and Sin..if someone sins to u 7 times a day, and if he says he repents and he's sorry..forgive him..which means if the person sin to u many times, even more than 7 times, if he confess, forgive him..=D

we had squad activity after that, thx to squad4 members for giving response today..=P we played this game called 请你跟我这样做..the objective of this game is to follow the leader and his actions and members have to add in any ideas that u have to improve it..not only let the leader lead, but members can help improve it too..^^ then we discussed about our 'squad resolution poster' for 2010..each of us shared about 3 of our resolutions..so we'll be doing the poster next week k? =P

we had badge class after that..target class pitched up tents and cooked magee mee, to learn cooking skills and EAT of course..=x the other seniors had Safety Badge Exam..@.@ gratz to those who think that they did well, to those that think that they'll fail, just try harder next time yea =)

we didnt have drill today, so we dismissed..

sorry for not posting for so long already..=( last last week, i didnt go for BB, coz i had debate competition and last week we had badge class only..

before we start posting, we have news!! from now on, we're not squad5 already..senior section changed to 5 squads only, so we are squad4 now..=) our blog link will change soon, we'll inform u once we change the link..=D

during parade, we had 8 members..gratz!! =P so we had praise and worship session by squad member daniel, good job ^^ we sang Let the Heavens Rejoice, 去实现 & How Great Is Our God..to pnw team, pls remember what sir commented on our worship team yea..

we had bible class after that..we continued Luke chapter 16..today's parable is about a manager who was being dishonest..but Jesus had commented on him..although he was being dishonest, he was actually finding friends because he knows we would soon be fired..ahem, this doesnt mean God allows u to be dishonest yea..=x what Jesus actually meant was that we should use our position to gain friends for ourselves..=)

since the primers were still having their Bible classes, we continued with squad activity first..so for this week, each of u got ur squad books already right? so pls remember to bring it to BB every week yea..=D btw, we welcome back Alex =) after so long, he finally came back to BB, hope that he'll be staying =D so today was kinda down, because hardly got response..but anyways, hope that next week will be different, and we'll enjoy squad activity k..^^ jia you owh!!

so we had badge class by primer jing fong about Safety..we finished learning Road, Home, Electrical and Kitchen Safety already, so we only revised it this week..

17th April 2010

during parade, we had 7 members..so since alot of squad5 members are taking leave for PMR, we have 8 members altogether for squad5, and this week, only philip didnt come coz he has a school program..gratz yea =)

today's song leader is joshua ong, there was a slight problem with the musicians, but hey, we're still worshiping God rite?^^

after that, we had Bible class..today Uncle Butt Wah is absent, so his class combined with Uncle Mike's class..we learnt about Luke 15 about the prodigal son, the missing coin and the lost sheep..about that, the Lord just wants us to repent and He'll forgive us..and that once a sinner repents, everyone celebrates!! =P

for Badge class, Sgt richard already took leave for college, so Primer Jing Fong will be teaching, first timer, jia you owh ^^ so we learnt about home safety which is separated into 3 groups : Fire safety, Kitchen Safety and Electrical Safety..so guys, remember that the objective u learn about this is to increase awareness of safety measures and not just to pass this badge exam k? =D

next was squad activity =P today only 1 member, philip didnt come, so we discussed about our squad condition and others..remember our last squad objective was "building relationship", we're done with that, but we'll still continue building our relationship yea =) so our next squad objective is Attendance and Care & Concern..our target is : everyweek 8 members come for BB =D and if any members cant come for BB, members have to call them and find out more about why he didnt come..so probably this squad objective would be achieved quite fast..we have to focus more on our attendance since we have quite few members now, so jia you owh..^^

sry for the late post, was kinda bz T.T

after parade, we had Praise and Worship led by squad member Daniel, gratz =) we sang Segala Puji Syukur, Kau Yang Terindah and a new song. ^^

for Bible class, we watched the last section of the story of the Prince of Egypt : Moses. =P we learnt of how he made miracles happen with the help of God. like how the red sea opened up the way for them to pass by and others =D Praise the Lord, many members including the non-christians enjoyed the movie and learnt alot ^^

badge class. for target class, they went to make and measure their uniform. Target Exam maybe will be on the 24th of April, will confirm later. for Safety's badge, we made our posters =x after that, we shared about road safety and drew posters and sticked it around the church. so if u are free, u can go see and learn more about road safety =) the objective of this is to increase awareness to juniors, seniors and even adults on road safety =D

for squad activity, today is Sgt ric's last day in BB, coz he's going to MIA college and staying there, he's coming back evey saturday but he has to spend time with his family =) so today's activity is sharing about our experiences with Sgt in squad5 ^^

Enrolment's Day 2010

enrolment's day is a day that we, BB members commit ourselves infront of the Lord. as u all know God is part of BB, so this day is very important =)

1st, we started with our brass band performance ^^ we performed Tequila and Novena =)

we had praise and worship song leaded by Wayne and Bok Wan. Sir Tam Zhi Jian, anson, nicholas and anita were in the worship team. glad to see BB members serving the church ^^ we sang Here To Eternity, Jesus we celebrate, Blessed be Your name, Because He Lives, and Beautiful Saviour. praise the Lord our God =D

then we had bible reading and sermon by Pastor Low. about the Resurrection of Jesus. and that the resurrection is a mystery. if we can understand about how Jesus resurrected, it wouldnt be a mystery anymore and it wouldnt be resurrection. =x because a mystery will nvr be solved. it shows how mighty and wonderful God's power and love is. and how Jesus thought of all of us even when He's being crucified. like when the soldiers nailed him to the cross, He said :"Lord, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." He can think of forgiving them even after what they did to him =( so we should be like Jesus, to forgive others and to forget =D

after that, the pastor enrolled the NCOs, primers, helpers and Officers ^^

after that we have refreshments =P

3rd April 2010

it's the 1st saturday of the month, so we're supposed to wear full uniform, but since the next day, sunday, 4th April of enrolment day, so we wore mufti because on enrolment day we'll have to wear full uniform. =)

today, sad to say, squad5 only had 6 members. T.T soo hang went to clean grave. dear squad5, please do try ur best to come BB yea, our attendance is getting lower and unstable, sometimes alot members, sometimes vry few. =( jia you owh ^^

praise and worship by darren as the song leader, gratz =) we sang Kau yang Terindah, How Great is Our God and Hari Ini =P then after that we continued the movie about Moses. this is because this year's Bible Contest will probably be on the story of Moses. so we saw that Moses found out that he wasnt actually the prince of Egypt and so he ran out of the palace. then he married a lady after that. after that, we saw how the Lord spoke and commanded Moses to free his people of Egypt who were slaves. and...to be continued next week =x

Badge class. the results on what badge we're going to take is out.
1. Safety's Badge - 2months
2. Environmental Conservation & Arts and Craft
* arts and craft is divided into 3sections, Art (drawing), Craft (cooking etc.) and Hobbies (any hobby)
3. Physical Badge
* just a test to see our stamina level, the badge class will be on the end of the year =D
4. International Relationship
* Sgt is still writing the proposal to the officers =x we MIGHT be going to singapore for that next year, wohoo ^^

so we started with our 1st badge for this year, Safety's badge. =) there are 4sections, Road, Home, School and Water. we learnt about Road Safety today. so 1st we were separated into 3 groups. the 'mentors', who are those that passed Safety's basic already, Sgt lois, Cpl xiao lye and L/cpl Jason. Sgt lois's group is named the quantity group. haha, jkjk =x so we discussed about why road accidents can happen, what causes. and then representative from each group will present our points, that is, Kai xian, Daniel and Kean Chung. gratz ^^

project for next saturday:
in groups. make a poster about road safety. gambateh =)

squad activity. since today there were only 6 members, we played a simple game. a game of communication. the 2 group leaders, Tam leng and Rong Ying will communicate with their group members to build a structure with books. for example the shape, word, tallest and shortest structure. and the last one was to make any structure that is meaningful. so both made a heart with a cross in the middle. 1 group copy cat actually =x and the leaders have to share about the meaning of their structure. the objective of this game is to train communication not only in the talkative members but also the quiet ones. and also to learn more about God la by the meaning of the structures. BUT, we didnt have time for the sharing, sry yea, didnt plan the time management properly =(

after drill, we dismissed =)

it was the 3rd week, so we wore uniform. squad 5 had 11 members today, gratz o ^^

we had praise and worship after that by song leader darren =) his first time being song leader, jia you =D

during Bible class, we watched a movie of Moses. about how his mum saved him from the pharoah, but we didnt get to finish the movie =(

we dont have Badge class this week because Sgt is still discussing with the officers on what badge we're going to take, so we had squad activity. this week, we continue with our squad Objective, which is Building Relationship =) so we had this game, each have a partner, and then each ask each other 3 questions that we dont know about them. and add another question, How do you think squad5 can build up its relationship? for example, what activities can we do and how to achieve it. ^^ so we each know 3 more things about each other already =) and we have new ideas on how to build up our relationships =P

guys, Michael cant be joining us in BB for 3 months. T.T because he's having tuition on every Saturday. we hope that after that 3 months, he will still have interest in BB and come back =)

Jean cant be joining us too, because her mum wants her to study for PMR, jia you owh =)

so, please study hard for your exams yea, so that your parents will 放心 (is that the writing? =x)
and let you come for BB, gambateh and thanks =P

after that was drill, we continue practising for Pesta drill. and other drill teams practised their drilling. then, captain ball ^^ since we had 11 members today, so we borrowed 2 members to other squads =) we VS. squad 4 and squad 6. and we drawed, gratz yea ^^

- next week (27th March), there will be NO BB, because there will be a wedding held in church..
- 3rd April, dresscode is full mufti because the next day (4th April) will be Enrolment Day, u will have to wear full Uniform. NCOs' attendance is compulsary, for other members, if u wanna come, please wear full uniform too..9am yea, please bb punctual =)

Annual Camp 2010 =)

13th March

members gathered at church at 9am, thanks for being punctual. after anchor song and briefing, we boarded the bus =P in the bus, nothing to do for the 3hour bus-ride, we played mafia, sing songs and CHO DAI DI. =x =x but ofcourse we didnt bet. =)

after that, we finally reached our destination, Ayer Keroh, Melaka. ^^ during this camp, Sgt Ric "BOSS" wants each group to volunteer to serve the food and clean up after that, so groups will have to take turns to do those jobs. =D after going into our SUPER-NICE-CHALET, Sir Tam divided us into 5 groups. which are, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Elite =) so, these 5 groups are departments in a company "1st kajang coy", with our BOSS Sgt Ric xD after that, we had Praise and Worship session by BOSS =x

then, time for ice breaking and games =P first we had this game, which we have to each find 1 partner. after that, we have to hold each other's hands and squat down, then we have to communicate with each other and work together to stand up. we had the "tallest, biggest" game after that. BOSS will say like "tallest" then we have to find some1 in our group that represents tallest. after going out, then only he will say tallest what. so quite hard and damn funny =P the winners were 1st-Bravo, 2nd-Alpha, 3rd-Chalie, so the 2 groups that lose, Delta and Elite will have to clean up on the 2 nights, meaning, wash the toilets. =x

we were supposed to have obstacle course, but it rained, so changed to free time =D girls went to bath first, and others played truth or dare and many others, to have fellowship with each member =)

after praying, we had dinner ^^ then, we had Praise and Worship session by Alpha, and games by Bravo, but during the chicken game, we got out-of-control, so BOSS stopped the game. guys, please remember that although this is a relax camp, but still you are BB members, this is not how a BB member should act.

we had sermon by Pastor Joe, about All for One, and One for All =) the bible verses are
Ephisians 4:4-6 and 15-16
Philippians 1:27
you should really read it, very meaningful. we learnt about unity. and that the source of unity are cooperation, having the same vision, common faith - the Lord, and common grace - free given to us by the Lord, so we are saved.

for example, like a cake, it's made up of flour, egg and other things. individually, they taste quite bad, but once they are ONE, once they are mixed together, the produce a very good taste, they become ONE CAKE. and if added with yeast, they expand and become better. same thing, individually each member can do not much, but when we work tegether, having unity, we produce good results, and we become ONE COMPANY. and together with Christ, we expand and become so much better. =)

Pastor Joe told us to just close our eyes, it's just between you and God, and put your hands on the person next to you who havent believe in the Lord, and pray for them. we had a few minutes of pure silence, just praying, not talking to each other, just praying. after that we sang One Voice.
we had discussion after that:
1. How can I show Unity in my family, school, country, and BB?
2. How can I show God's Love to people around me?
3. How can BB be more united?

after that, we had free time, Elite went to wash the toilet, thanks Elite =)
lights out at 12.

14th March

woke up and had exercise led by Sgt anson. after breakfast, we had service because it was a sunday =) Sgt anson led us with worship. then pastor Joe continued to talk to us about Unity. today's topic is One for All and All for God. read
John 17:11, 20-21
and then we had to form the alphabets "UNITY", each group take 1 alpha. we showed trust and unity when forming the alpha =P

after lunch, we went to Malacca Zoo and Bee Museum. at the zoo, we took alot of pics with the animals. xD at the Bee museum, the aunty told us some information about bees and we got to taste different types of honey =D some even bought honey that can make your skin smoother =x after that supposed to go for obstacle course, but it rained T.T so we had free time again.

after dinner, group Charlie led the praise and worship session, and Kai Xian from Delta led the games. after that we had night walk, by Sgt richard. through this nightwalk, we learnt to voice out opinions and trust your leader's dicision. after that tk and jason shared =)

then sir let us free time till 2am must sleep, wohoo ^^ so then we sang birthday song to Lois ^^

15th March

exercise led by Sgt Lois, the 'queen' =x then breakfast, and praise & worship session and games by Elite. after that we FINALLY had obstacle course ^^ we were separated into 2 groups, 1st group alpha, bravo and half of charlie, 2nd group half of charlie, delta and elite. so we had to trust our leader to lead us through the obstacle course =) after lunch, we prayed and went back =P
