as today is the 4th saturday, we wore mufti to BB..=) remember when i said squad5 must have 14 members this week? cant achieve..coz most of them had to go to school..so squad5 only had 7 members..half of the whole squad..=( but nevermind, because they went to school..haha..by the way..always remember that, family 1st, then school, then only BB..dont skip school to go BB ya..school is more important..=)

praise and worship..the worship leader is ban kok..=P so we sang, Come Let Us Sing, Rang Ai Zhou Dong and Lord I lift Your Name On High..

there is no Bible class today, so seniors continued with badge class..the recruits went with Sir Tam, and others Communication Badge class by the 2 SGTs..so, today sgt let us experience how the communication exam will be..we seperated into our groups, then each at their own stations..sgt will tell the 1st member a sentence, then the member must use hand sign to show the sentence to the 2nd member, then the 2nd member will use flag to show to the 3rd member, then the 3rd member will use morse code..hard eh..=x so, guys, study hard and gambateh!! ^^

we were supposed to have drill, but since the juniors are using the badminton court, and we cant use the primary school (students are studying there), so the 2 SGTs planned a few indoor games for us..1st..we tell everyone our favourite food, favourite thing, or something that symbolizes us..then we seperated into 4 groups..we have 3 sections..describing, acting, and drawing..once sgt tell u a name or thing, we have to describe, act or draw it out, then the team members have to say the name of it..for example, daniel's symbol is cow, so someone have to describe, act or draw a cow, and the members must say "daniel"..and we have this SUPER-BIG-DICE, we throw it..number 1 and 4 means we have to describe, 2 and 5 means act, 3 and 6 means draw..so the whole game very funny la..=P then at the end team 1 and 4 draw, so SGT got bonus round..sgt anson will draw something SUPER-SIMPLE, and we have to guess..for ur information, sgt draw "VERY-VERY-NICE"..=x =x so..group 4 won..gratz to them..^^ the objective of this game is to know more about each member in the senior section, like what they like to eat, what they like, and who they like..haha..now, each of us know 3 things more about every member..=)

after that, was special activity..which is..CAPTAIN BALL!! wohoo ^^ so since they are quite a few people in some squads (coz members have school), so the whole senior section divided into 4 groups..the teams kinda equal..but got one team very pro leh..not fair..=x after that got girl on girl match..CPL lois, anita, kar yan, zi hui and maysan 1 team..L/CPL xiao lye, hui min, mei lan, jean and mei kei another team..xiao lye's team won..gratz to them too..^^

after that we dismissed..=)

others:
- Communication Badge Exam 30th January (this saturday), 12pm-2.30pm, please be ready for the exam..=)
- 30th January, after communication badge exam, there is SPECIAL PROGRAM..wear mufti T-shirt with nametag, sports pants (do not wear jeans), and sports shoe (wear with socks)..and meet at church before 2.45pm..please be punctual..thanks..=P
- there is a worship team exam on the 1st saturday in February, for members that are learning, please remember to practise the song..we are finding for quality, not quantity..thanks..

today during parade, guess what? squad5 had only 8 members!! =( guys, what happened? 6 members didnt come..michael went to penang with his family, jean had music replacement class, rong ying had tuition, son yeing has to work, alex and yew hong didnt tell their reason..attendance so low..=( anyhow, they have their reasons, just for this week, so better make sure next week 14 members come to BB yea..^^

the worship team today is special..because the song leaders are our chicken, Daniel and Josh ong..=P although this is their first time worship leading in BB, they did a good job in leading the members to worship God..gratz to them..=D we sang Soraklah Hallelujah, This is How We Overcome & Now that You're Near..

Bible class, we learnt about Luke Chapter 11..about Jesus teaching's on prayer..we learnt the Lord's Prayer..for those that dont know how to pray, dont worry..next time, u can try praying the Lord's prayer..it's very important..that's why u learn that in Target Class..=) then we also learned about the lamp of the body..our eyes are like the lamps of the body..if our eyes are good, there is light in us, but when it's bad, we are full of darkness..

after that we had badge class..the Target Class members went to BB room with Sir Tam, and the others to worship hall for Communication Badge Class..so we seperate into our own groups and continue practising and helping each other the 3 chapters, hand sign, morse and flag..=)

squad activity..since there are so few members that came today =(, and squad activity was 20 minutes only today, so we just test each other whether we remember the nicknames of everyone..=x so, one by one have to say everyone's nickname..so many members wrong..=x sure la!! the nicknames so childlish leh..mwahaha..so one mistake, la er duo 5 times..so ended up, soo hang la er duo 5 times, tam leng and daniel 10 times, sgt ric 25 times, and..anita 45 times..=x =x then we had some announcements, and prepared for drill..

remember that last week each senior had to drill alone, and the 2 sgts will test u, to see if u can qualify for the drill team..as u all should know already, we may be joining the Pesta Drill Competition..=) so, today, sgt chose 13 members for the team already..for those that managed to enter the drill team, gratz..=) for those that didnt get to enter, dont worry, there are still 2 or 3 places left in the team..and, if the sgts feel that someone from the drill team is falling back, he will kick him/her out, and another senior can join the team..so guys, gambateh!! ^^

after that we dismissed..=P and the seniors that are going for interview for promotion went to worship hall and got interviewed..jia you to them..=)

others:
- in ur monthly timetable, they write the dresscode for 23 January (next sat) is Uniform, wrong already..next week is the 4th saturday, so please wear MUFTI ya..
- squad5 attendance in getting lower, please try to improve and be active at BB again..=( and if u cant come, please tell sgt ric or anita before saturday, not after BB..thx..=D
- 30th January (5th sat), there is Communication Badge exam..so for those that are taking this badge, please remember to remember the communication signs..=P
- Computer Badge, advance group, for those that are still Pending, please finish ur homework, if Sir Wong feels that ur homework can be accepted, then u will pass..gambateh!! ^^
- please give RM12 for subscription fee to anita latest by this saturday..thanks..=)

since its January already, so every1 started wearing full uniform again..we realised that recently, squad5's uniform parts are becoming worse and worse, so try improving it to be as good as last year again ok?^^ find some1 to partner with u, then u check his uniform, and he check ur uniform..=)

today's song leader is CPL lois..great game in the song Trading My Sorrows right? =P thanks CPL lois for leading a worshipful time of praising God..^^ announcements, Sir Tan will be taking leave for 3 month, we're sure he is very tired already, he has been helping BB for the past years and didnt take any leave at all..Sir Tan, rest for a few months, we still appreciate all u've done for us..^^ thanks =)

after that was Bible class..uncle Mike continue teaching us about the book of Luke..we learnt about Luke Chapter 10..about the good samaritan..when Jesus said to Love Your Neighbours, it doesnt mean love the people living next to u only, it doesnt mean u have to love people that are like u only..when Jesus said to Love Your Neighbours, it meant loving every single person, doesnt matter how he looks, or if he is a different kind of person than u..=) and about when Jesus went to Mary and Martha's house..when Jesus went there, mary sat and listen to his word, but martha was too busy worrying about food and drinks for God..this teaches us to be like mary, do not worry and be upset of to many things, only one thing is needed, which is the word of God..=P

Badge class..the new recruits went to Target class with Sir Tam..and the other seniors continued with Communication badge..we have groups of 4 seniors, and we have to practise with them for the exam that is end of this month, 30 January..so, jia you!! ^^

during squad activity, its a new year, and so, each of us have to introduce ourselves again, to make sq members learn more about u..=P now that josiah is in squad4, our squad5 chicken of all chickens in Daniel Tam!! wohoo..^^ haha..and, sgt ric made nicknames for each squad5 member..and a new rule..during squad activity, members must call each other by their nickname only, if they use their real name, la er duo 5 times for 1 mistake..=x the nicknames..very..childlish..that's squad5..=P

after that, we dismissed..=D

2nd January 2010

its the first week of Jan 2010..=) sq5 had 10 people..=( what happen to the attendance? gambateh sq5..=P

today's song leader is L/CPL soo lee..as we sing praise and worship, he get to bring up the mood of the whole company into praising God..gratz to him..^^

after that was Bible class, for english section under 15, uncle Mike can make it, so sir Max took over the class..we review on our last puzzle test..and sir Max thought us alot about God, and at the same time, make everyone enjoy Bible class, laughing so happily..we learnt about the miracles Jesus did, its like review on what we learnt in the past chapters of Luke..thanks sir Max..^^

today's is a new year, so we have 2 sessions of squad activity..first, L/CPL joshua told us about his suggestion in the new squads, and our opinions..so squad 1,2 and 4 had discussion together, discussing on who to go sq1 and 2..sq 3 have their own sq activity, because they have no changes in their sq members..and squad5 discussed and squad 6 discussed their own..

the new sq plan is like that..
now we are trying to put the elder members (17-18yrs old seniors) into 2 squads, squad 1 and 2..this is to make sure that the attendance wont be affected too much, because now they are having SPM and college..so half of squad 4 will go to squad1 and another half will go to squad2..so squad4 will be a new squad, so squad5 and squad6 will together give 4 seniors to squad4..and there are 6 new seniors that just got promoted to senior section, 2 went to squad4, 2 to squad5, and 2 to squad6..=)

after that, we had squad activity..for now, squad5 has 16 members, adding the 2 new form1 seniors, Tam Leng ans Soo Hang..welcome to squad5!! ^^ so we discussed on who want to go to squad4..we need 2 members to go there..so each member will have to say either they want to stay in squad5, or go to squad4, and their reason..3 members wanted to go to squad4, waihoeng,floyd and josiah..they want to lead and teach the other seniors in squad4 what they learnt in squad5..=) so at the end, floyd and josiah went to squad4, waihoeng stayed at squad5..before dismiss, squad4 and squad5 prayed together..each member prayed a sentence..as Jesus said, 10 people pray a short prayer, is better than 1 person pray a super long prayer..so, we are going to pray like this from now onwards..^^

after that, we dismissed..=)

now is the year 2010..
a new year, with new hopes, new dreams, new resolutions, new challenges, and....

its a new year already, make sure to make a new and better YOU..and never forget to give praise unto the Lord for giving us such a wonderful 2009..^^ and to pray that 2010 will b a better year ahead..=)
