hey, sorry i didnt post for the last 2 weeks, because i didnt go for BB, anyways last week we went to mission trip, in Pengkalan Hulu to help out in the BB company there, 1st Pengkalan Hulu Company, will post it =)

20th November 2010

this week, during parade, we got pumped AGAIN, because we didnt keep the church compound clean. so please make sure we do, it doesnt need to be after dismiss, any time when u're free, u can clean the place =)

today, people from HONG KONG came to our church! =D they leaded us in our Praise & Worship session. all cantonese songs =x and halfway, a few of them shared about their life experiences, the hard times, and how God has helped them to face them =)

badge class! the members in 'cooking class' went on with their class, this week's assignment, COOKING BREAKFAST - ham, sausage etc. i even ate some, quite nice =x for the 'origami class', they had to make the nicest looking aeroplane and the one that can fly the highest/furthest/yeng-est =x michael's one flew SUPER high =P and Sir Tam's one fly for 1 second then drop dy =x =x for 'model making' we started our project! Kean Chung is making a dragon model, i think its from a game. Anita is making a guitar, and Yin Yee a dolphin! so yea we started, it so awesome =P

so today after dismiss, we handed out our squad camp forms =) be sure to submit it ASAP to Anita or Daniel or Wai Hoeng.

im so sorry! didnt post for 2 months already -.- i will update this blog every week from now on! =x sry =x =x

okay, since its the last 2 months of 2010, we'll be wearing MUFTI for the rest of the year! =) so, today we had 8 members, good. so during parade, the whole senior section got pumped, A LOT. why? because we were being rude, not only the members, the NCOs also. we didnt greet any primer, ssgts, or officers. =( its not about them wanting us to greet actually, its about our habits, next time when we're off to work etc, we need these habit of always greeting people, and not just walk pass them. if not, its being rude! and again, we got pumps for not keeping the church compound clean, BB use the church compound, so we should be responsible to keep it clean. sorry 1st kajang & 9th mile lutheran church =(

after parade, we had Praise & Worship session. Even though the electricity keep on-ing and off-ing, we still managed to worship the Lord, because even if there's no electricity, as long as we mean it, we r still praising the Lord =D

bible class, today we finished Luke 23. we read about Jesus's Death and Burial. and that Joseph & Nicodemus took Jesus's body and buried it in a tomb/rock. we'll be finishing chapter 24 next week.

badge class =P after separating into our respective topics, we started. for the "drawing" section, they had to draw anything that they can see, the surroundings. for the "design" section, we had to design a logo with a "7" in it, any way u like. u must have the line, point and plane. as for the "singing" section, they had to perform a song in groups. Cpl Nicholas, Josiah & Daniel sang "Through It All", Cheng Fong & Joshua sang "cai hong", and Darren & Avril sang "O Holy Night". all did well =) keep it up people! after SSGT gave us our assignments, off we are for Squad Activity!

we went to the new church compound and played captain ball, squad 4 vs. squad 5. i can say, both squads also quite ganas =x this includes anita hitting tamleng's head with a ball, sorry! haha. after playing for 20mins, we started our Environmental Conservation Project, so we started plucking the weeds! =D so, 10mins added into our accounts. ^^

after dismiss, SSGT told us to stand in a line in the new compound, and we started plucking weeds! those who have more, gets more bonus marks! haha, so in the end, we did a great job! pastors and the church members must be so proud of us =P so, another 30mins added into the account! thanks everyone =D

Squad Camp 2010 details :

venue : church + outside church compound (amazing race & outing)

this week, most of the seniors went to BNTS & ANTS, so seniors are left with 12 ppl! =x

so after parade, we had Praise & Worship by josiah. We sang Trading my sorrows, Blessed be Your Name and Shout to the Lord. and then announcements by anita.

After that, we combined Bible Class with Pastor Joe teaching us. he gave us a few questions,

1) is it important to be a Christian outside BB?

2) does BB bring ppl to Christianity?

3) as a BB member, did you do ur part in bringing ppl to Christ?

so these questions made us think for awhile, and then each group had to share about our answers. the last question was very important, and for us now, we didnt really do it yet, so better try to share about the gospel yea. =) pastor Joe added, if u have something good to share, of course we would want to share to our friends right? so how come we dont share about God to them? and then pastor talked about his vision/dream.

he was in a place kneeling infront of God, and someone came and talked to him. he said he was in Hell and he's pastor's neighbour. and he said to pastor :"why didnt you share the gospel to me? i dont have a chance to b in Heaven now." so since then, pastor decided to work in God's ministry. =)

so dont wait till that day happens.

after that was Special Program. we started off with a communication game. each group 2 ppl. so anita gave a drawing to 1 member of the group, and he/she has to describe the drawing to his/her partner and the partner has to draw it down. and then we'll see how well the group members communicate with each other. the best was kai xian & josiah. avril & tamleng had language problem. haha. the objective of this game is to train ur communicating skills. if u cant communicate well, nothing can b done. and u must explain specifically so that u can pass the message to ur partner clearly. =)

2nd game by Cpl Joshua, he gave us a few things and we had to make 2 and a half lines. objective of this game is to train teamwork and improvising skills. =D

after that was Captain Ball. 2 teams. 1st game, Sgt Ric's team won Cpl Joshua's team. but THEN! juniors wanted to play, so we went into Fellowship Hall. we played a memory game led by Sgt. and then he showed us a video, about seat belts. and then he linked it with sharing the gospel. he told us that we can find any videos and then link it to Christianity to share it with other non-christians. so we have an assignment about this to share the gospel to others =)

we dismissed and played captain ball & dodge ball after that with the juniors =D even though we only had 12 seniors, we had loads of FUN today! ^^

1. 11th September (next saturday), there is NO BB. because it's Hari Raya. =P

2. there is no BB next week, but the Youth is having a Mooncake Festival BBQ, all youths are invited!

the schools were having replacement class AGAIN @.@ so today only 4 ppl =(

we had parade & then Praise & Worship by sq member daniel tam =D we sang Hari Ini, Here To Eternity, and Still..then L/cpl marcus gave the announcements..

Bible class, we continued last week's Luke 22..we learnt about the passover, and about the Holy Communion, about the unleavened bread & wine, as a covenant in Jesus blood..

Luke 22:26

Jesus said: "The greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves."

Jesus told peter that satan would tempt him, and it did..Peter denied Jesus 3 times, but he went back to Jesus because of his faith..Judas did not, he betrayed Jesus..

we watched 'The Inconvenient Truth' again, and then and squad activity..this week Sgt Ric went from sq to sq to evaluate each sq, although our sq didnt do well, we'll try to do better next week..=)

drill, each member followed their respective trainers, Cpl Nic and the drill presentation group followed Cpl Josh..

after that, we dismissed..

the schools were having replacement class again ._. so squad 4 had 4 ppl, full attendance because the others are in school =)

for praise & worship session, Cpl Soo Lee leaded us, and thank God that it was a great time worshiping the Lord! ^^ we sang 不要忧虑, Segala Puji Syukur & One Way =P

for Bible class, we learnt Luke Chapter 22. we learnt about how satan tempted Judas to betray Jesus and about the passover. today's Bible class was a little short, but we'll continue next week.

Badge class, Primer Han Jon let us continue the movie from last week, pls remember to take down notes because this will be in ur Environmental Conservation Exam! =D

we then had squad activity. we only had 4 members, but we still continued. we had this activity is like, i ask u a question, u have to answer and u'll have to ask another person another question. so it's like non-stop. we asked many random questions and alot 废话, haha. but actually this is to be relax abit. to just bring up the mood a little, say some jokes, and at the same time get to know each other more. and the last question, we agreed to be more 废 and 叽喳 to make sq activity more fun. remember k, u r the one who suggest this, so talk more la! xD

drill, the drill formation team continued practicing the 3rd formation. pls remember to be more serious, this is drill, and always be alert =) make sure u come next week too.

after that, we dismissed. and 拔草! =x

1. our 1st kajang's 41st anniversary will be postponed to September because many schools are having replacement classes these few weeks, the date will be confirmed later.

2. thank God that our 9th mile lutheran church's 52nd anniversary went on smoothly on 15th august 2010 =D thanks to band members for the great performance too ^^

it's the 1st week of august already, it's past the half of year 2010. so study hard yea form3-s and form5-s =x

parade, we had quite few members because today the school were having replacement class. so only those who are studying in morning session can come BB, but nvm! cause for us, Education is more important! =)

today's praise & worship session was lead by Cpl Nicholas, so today was more spiritual, praise the Lord! we sang Blessed Be Your Name, 去实现 & With All I Am. most of the NCOs were supposed to go to 3rd KL for their Enrollment's Day, but it got postponed to Sunday, so we had more people here in BB. =D

Bible Class, Uncle Butt Wah's class combined with Uncle Mike's class. so we continued to Luke 21. it's about a widow's offering. many rich people give riches, and alot of gifts for offering. but the widow gave only 2 copper coins. but, the truth is, the widow gave more than the rich people. the rich people only gave a little of everything they have, but the widow gave everything she had.

Luke 21:4

"all these people give their gifts out of their wealth ; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on."

this doesnt mean that those who give alot are bad =x it's okay to give alot if you're capable of it, the main point of this is, GIVE IT OUT OF YOUR HEART. =)

then we learnt about the signs of Jesus's 2nd coming. He wont tell us when he will come, but there are signs for them.

Badge class, Primer Han Jon let us watch a movie about global warming, quite funny. =x we will continue the movie next week, so pls do come!

Squad Activity. since today quite few people, each squad around 5 ppl, so squad 3, 4 & 5 combined. =x we had sharing, about our past camps, not necessarily BB camps, what we learnt in those camps, and how it has changed us. so Sgt Richard started. he talked about his experience in ANTS. and, whoa, he kinda scared us. =x so ANTS is like a camp on leadership, how to lead a company. then Cpl Joshua talked about BNTS. although BNTS have quite alot punishments, still, its more of how to know yourself, what kind of attitude you should have. it's more like about your own. so he encouraged all of us to join this year's BNTS! ^^ then anita shared about last year's STC, how she learnt to cook =x and trust others too. then daniel shared about Life Game. =P it's a 4-day game that u get to play your life out. and he said that in this camp, he realised how hard it is to earn money & how easy it is to spend it. if u havent joined this camp before, u should! then kai xian talked about his STC too. so finally darren prayed and we prepared for drill.

for Cpl Joshua's group, we continue to prepare for our BB 41st Anniversary Drill Formation Presentation. we finished 2 formations already, will be doing the last one next week, so members MUST come yea, only 2 weeks more to go!

after that, we dismissed.
