after parade by Cpl soo lee, we went up for praise and worship session..=P josiah was the song leader..we sang Lord I Lift Your Name On High, My Life is in You, and This is My Desire..=D

during Bible class, we learnt about Luke 19..the story of Zacchaeus the tax collector..im sure we all know that story..its about Zacchaeus who is a sinner, but welcomed Jesus and salvation is in him, he decided to give back the extra money he took from others..=)

next was the parable of the ten minas..this verse is meaningful, Luke 19:26

Jesus replied,'I tell u that to everyone who has, more will b given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what he has will b taken away.'

note:

after another 5 weeks when we finish the book of Luke, there will b an exam on it..for Christian Education Badge..so, read up and goodluck..=D

we had Badge class after that..this week we presented our Environmental Conservation sketches..=x so Primer han jon gave us another 10minutes to practice our sketch and then we presented..1st up was the 1st group, Cpl josh's group..its about conservation of flora and fauna..the story is about 3 animals in the jungle..xD

we learnt from that sketch that it takes around 1 hour to cut down a tree, but 1 whole year to plant a healthy and well-grown tree..so we have to plant more trees..=)

2nd group's sketch is about air and water pollution..the way they showed the fishes (maysan and karmei) dying and washed away was funny..haha..

we learnt to not support those factories that use animal skin to make their products, as it causes alot of air and water pollution..

both teams got 15/30..gratz!! ^^

we had sq activity and then drill..this week, Sgt richard led us again..and because we didnt showed our discipline during drill, we got pumped..alot..so we learnt a few things that day..

- b more disciplined

- make sure u do things fast and not slowly

and we also trained our drill

Sgt gave us an assignment, we have to

write down what's the objective of drill, and what we learn in drill..

and pass it up to Cpl josh next week (10th july)..

- on the 31st July (5th sat) we are having a special program..our company planned a day of BOWLING in Metropoint, to bond with members between officers, seniors and juniors..=D RM15 per person..if u are interested, pls tell ur sq leaders ASAP..

- pls tell ur sq leaders when is ur school replacement class, because they need to set a date for our company's 41st anniversary..=)

- NCOs, sq leaders and asst. sq leaders, pls b informed that we are going to have our NCO and sq leaders council again..

parade ended very fast..sry =x

this week's song leader is daniel..and our whole worship team is young geh, except Cpl Josh..=x we sang Here to Eternity, Mighty to Save, and 勇敢走出去..=)

from now on, the timetable for the 4th saturday will b different from the other weeks..here is the new timetable for seniors..

so now, its inter squad activity..this week's program is planned by anita and L/cpl marcus..so first we played a game of balancing on the newspaper..and each round, u have to fold it into half..turns out karmei, alex and avril were the finalist..=x then we had a 2nd part, is every1 find a solution so that every single person can balance on that small piece of newspaper..1st some suggested that a few ppl hold each other, but still, some people fell..so another suggested that they made a circle and hold each other, still failed..finally, kaixian suggested that every hold each other, and use their left leg to step on the newspaper, and right leg step on the person on ur right's leg..sounds complicated? but, this way WORKED!! and they passed..=) gratz..

the objective of this game is that..u see, when we r facing a problem, in this case, trying not to fall, we only think of ourselves..but the only way that can work is every1 to work together, helping each other..then only every1 can succeed..its like, not to think of urself only..and also, in these kind of problems, how leaders can find a solution, step out and suggest to others, communicate with them and get others to work with him..=)

then the next game is lying on each other's back geh..like each person get a chair, and sit on it, then lie down on the person next to u..then we'll slowly take the chairs out..and every1 balance without chairs..this game we all know very well, so i dont think i'll write the details down..

the objective is, u need ur members to work together if u want to stay strong..and like what L/cpl marcus said about the game..u stand alone, u'll fall..but stand together, we'll stay strong no matter what..=D

after that we had drill..Cpl Josh lead us..after that, he picked out some of us to command..gratz to Marcus and Daniel..=P after that, we sat down in a circle to discuss what r our mistakes..so we have 4 mistakes now..

1. our hands not straight

2. our legs arent 90 degrees

3. checking quite bad

4. always have sounds of our boots dragging on the floor

so pls try to chg this mistakes yea..=)

physical training / captain ball training..3 juniors joined us, Yan Shao, Brandon and Bryan..^^ for our squad, daniel led the training..1st we tried the new and correct way of pumping..u know last time our hands move to the side? that's wrong..the right way is to go straight, to the sides of ur body..so we tried, REALLY VERY TIRING MAN..all of us keep shouting..well, except wailoon, he damn strong man..@.@ then we did sit ups..we paired up with each other, 2 by 2..and started sit up-ing..and in the process, Brandon accidentally kicked somebody's....erm..=x not ngam to say here..haha..then we ran around the court for 3 rounds..wailoon suggested we run up the roofs of the school..LOL!! =x then we got the ball and started training shooting, passing and catching the ball without making it fall..

we only got time for 1 captain ball match..we vs squad 5..Primer Han Jon helped squad 5, Miss Lee helped us..=) but still, after that tiring game..we lost 8-9..aww..T.T anyhow, we played alot..so gratz..xD

after parade, we had praise and worship..we sang Segala Puji Syukur, Here I am to Worship and Still..=)

then it was Bible class..today we learnt about Luke Chapter 18..about a widow and an unjust judge..u see, the story is like this..the widow's husband died in a war, and she wants to get her rights..but no 1 listens to her..so everyday she keep asking the judge to help her out..she never stopped asking him, she had persistence..so FINALLY, after many many many days of that, the judge agreed to help her..

if u are persistent,even an unjust judge will help u..God is a very just judge..do u think He will help u if u continue praying everyday? well of course..=)

there's another story about the tax collector and the pharisee..one day, they both went to the temple and pray..the pharisee thanked God that he is not a sinner, not like the robbers, murderers and not the tax collector..see how he only thought of how good he himself was? but the tax collector beat himself, and confessed to the Lord..he repented..and God forgave his sins..and Uncle Mike shared about how meaningful this passage was:

"those who made themselves great, are humbled..but if u humble yourself, u are made great.." =)

badge class..since we finished our safety badge exam already..we continued with Environmental Conservation..=D our primers who will b teaching us are Primer Felicia and Primer Melvin..so for this week's assignment, we have to make a sketch about environmental conservation..can b about global warming, pollution, anything..so we were separated into 2 groups, and we started discussing and practiced..

Assignment:

u will b presenting ur sketch on 3rd July during badge class, so pls make sure u come on that day..=)

during drill, Sgt Ric came back to BB on that day and so he lead us in drill..according to the officers, recently our discipline really dropped alot..not to mention our uniform parts are getting worse..so we had uniform inspection by Sgt Ric, Sir Tan and Cpl Soo Lee..many got pumped..so pls remember what they said about ur uniform and try harder to improve it yea..prove to them that we can do better..=D then we started drill..but we only got to do basic drill..so, jia you ba..^^

for sq activity, we finally finished our sq resolution poster..=P we painted our fingers and 'chop' on the paper to make the design..xD will post the pictures later..

sry for not posting earlier..T.T

ok, so i dont really know what happened in BB coz i had to b helper for our children bible camp..so i went late to BB..so after the camp ended, we went to the primary school for games..

we played the unity game..O.o all the seniors, yes, ALL THE SENIORS stand in 1 row, and we tie all our legs together..and our mission is to walk from 1 end of the 小学篮球场 (is this how u write xiao xue? =x) to the other end..its not that far, but if u're walking with all of them tied together, its a LONG WAY..so then teck kien started shouting 'everyone jump together!!' if 1 person fall, everyone falls, and we have to start all over again..this trains our teamwork and helping each other when we face a problem..so then sgt suggested 1 person to give a way to solve this prob..and since the solution took TOO-LONG..ahem, sry yea =x =x so sgt suggested we all walk super-small-steps..and this was way faster..and we finally reached the end..=) gratz guys!!

then, CAPTAIN BALL!! we follow squads, but some had to b sent to other squads coz not enough ppl..but squad4 managed to stay, coz we wanted to..=x so our 1st game, vs. squad1 i think..we lose 9-7 to them..nvm, we tried our best already..without sgt sumore..good dy la xD

next game, vs. squad5..we won 6-0..this game everyone really laugh till sot already..coz so many ppl fall and do funny actions..=P good game squad 5 =)

- tamleng's birthday on the 7th June, i already sms-ed u guys her number, thx for wishing her..^^

- this coming saturday (12th June) there is NO BB, because quite alot of us are going to pesta..so, rest well and use ur time properly, dont just play..=x

- waihoeng, michael, yew hong, rongying, daniel, soo hang, yew hong, PLEASE PLEASE finish ur resolution card by next saturday, LAST DAY YEA..if not, mwahaha..u guys will kena dy la..we have to finish it by last week of June..

this week's the 4th week, so we wore mufti =)

we had 8 members today..philip had to go to penang with his family, and rong ying had tuition..today's worship session is leaded by joshua ong..we sang Soraklah Hallelujah, This Is How We Overcome and Here I am to worship..we have some special guests, a few church members from Semenyih came here to listen to a talk by Stanley Cheung..he talked about his experience when he was burnt by fire..abt how God helped him overcome his pain..

then we had squad activity..today we started doing our sq resolution poster..=D for those that didnt come, pls try to do it at home, coz we need to finish it by end of June yea..and while we were doing it, we chatted and talked abt how we're doing..at least we had some fellowship with each other..=P

we had games after that..we went to the chinese primary school and played captain ball..xD so we didnt follow squads, the whole senior section was separated into 4 groups and we played 4 games..but since the students are having extra classes, we had 'silent mode captain ball'..=x

then we went back to church and dismissed..pastor kuan gave yee lynn the reward for her straight A in SPM last yr..coz last week she didnt get to come..gratz..^^

others:

- next saturday (29th May) there is NO BB..so have a good rest at home or go out with ur family ba..=D

today's the 3rd week, so dresscode is full uniform..and we had 5 members today..T.T wailoon and rongying went for tuition..

announcement, Pei Yi from squad3 shifted to our squad..=) gratz and welcome..^^

praise and worship, song leaded by josiah..we sang Hari Ini, How Great Is Our God and Kau Yang Terindah..good job to the worship team, jia you..^^

then we had a special activity..today Uncle David and John from Basic Accord came and gave awards to those that scored well in UPSR, PMR and SPM in 2009..

Basic Accord is giving awards to those 1st kajang members that score well in their major exams..so gambateh and try ur best yea..^^

we had bible class after that, as usual we went to the library..so we continue learning about Luke Chapter 17..about Faith, Forgiveness and Sin..if someone sins to u 7 times a day, and if he says he repents and he's sorry..forgive him..which means if the person sin to u many times, even more than 7 times, if he confess, forgive him..=D

we had squad activity after that, thx to squad4 members for giving response today..=P we played this game called 请你跟我这样做..the objective of this game is to follow the leader and his actions and members have to add in any ideas that u have to improve it..not only let the leader lead, but members can help improve it too..^^ then we discussed about our 'squad resolution poster' for 2010..each of us shared about 3 of our resolutions..so we'll be doing the poster next week k? =P

we had badge class after that..target class pitched up tents and cooked magee mee, to learn cooking skills and EAT of course..=x the other seniors had Safety Badge Exam..@.@ gratz to those who think that they did well, to those that think that they'll fail, just try harder next time yea =)

we didnt have drill today, so we dismissed..

- we're doing our squad resolution poster next week (22nd May), so pls try ur best to come..and think of 3 resolutions so that u can write it next week..bring ur colours or marker pens too..=) dresscode : mufti

sorry for not posting for so long already..=( last last week, i didnt go for BB, coz i had debate competition and last week we had badge class only..

before we start posting, we have news!! from now on, we're not squad5 already..senior section changed to 5 squads only, so we are squad4 now..=) our blog link will change soon, we'll inform u once we change the link..=D

during parade, we had 8 members..gratz!! =P so we had praise and worship session by squad member daniel, good job ^^ we sang Let the Heavens Rejoice, 去实现 & How Great Is Our God..to pnw team, pls remember what sir commented on our worship team yea..

we had bible class after that..we continued Luke chapter 16..today's parable is about a manager who was being dishonest..but Jesus had commented on him..although he was being dishonest, he was actually finding friends because he knows we would soon be fired..ahem, this doesnt mean God allows u to be dishonest yea..=x what Jesus actually meant was that we should use our position to gain friends for ourselves..=)

since the primers were still having their Bible classes, we continued with squad activity first..so for this week, each of u got ur squad books already right? so pls remember to bring it to BB every week yea..=D btw, we welcome back Alex =) after so long, he finally came back to BB, hope that he'll be staying =D so today was kinda down, because hardly got response..but anyways, hope that next week will be different, and we'll enjoy squad activity k..^^ jia you owh!!

so we had badge class by primer jing fong about Safety..we finished learning Road, Home, Electrical and Kitchen Safety already, so we only revised it this week..
